Today was dyno day. The car now revs up to 7500RPM without missfiring like before, boost stayed the same at 1.5 bar but power went up a bit from 400whp to 450whp. Here are some videos from today: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v...type=2&theater

Something new under the hood. The new inlet manifold is from thicker aluminium and the throttlebody is bigger so the car can go without cracking the manifold like it hapened druing one of the races form last seson.

I think I am having a monologue but I don't care . So yesterday we had a problem with the new gears. Third gear (the wheel) sort of didn't stay attached to the shaft but that's no biggie. We sent it to the guy who made it and ha said he knew what do to to prevent that from happening again. We're also removing sixth and are making new fifth gear. The gears will be like this (with the new fifth) 1st:3.00 2nd:2.06 3rd:1.55 4th:1.34 5th:1.00Last edited by montauto; 17 April 2013, 20:59.

Sooo the first race of the season is over!!! We finished third overal and second in our group(X4-over 2000cc). The first day was full with problems. At first the car was running great but then the front diff broke and cracked the "body"of the gearbox at the inner side of the bell housing and the oil went straight on the ground. We went back to the garage at 18:30 and finished at about 12 minutes past midnight. We swapped our good box for a diesel one( infinity doesen't even come close to the gear gaps when it comes to rallycross). But that didn't turn to be the only thing that went bad. A brand new Bilstein damper went kaput by getting slightly bent and got stuck. Tha second day was good, we made good times in the qualifications and went straight to the A final. It was a good fight for the second place with a S2 which we lost due to the gearbox and suspension issiues. The car's front end needs alot work . Later I might upload an onboard video if get it of the GoPro .

Last race was two weeks ago but I forgot to post because I was angry of what happened . The whole weekend was horrible .Brake problems(no stoping power at all), smashed door, smashed rear end, destroyed damper .No matter we are going on and we wont quit. The bodywork is almost done suspension is sorted out but the brakes are a big problem. Please if someone has any sujestions because we don't have the money for brand new ones so say wht can we use as a brake donor. We are currently with 312mm front disks with passat b5.5 ate calippers and in the rear 276mm disks and same calippers.
