  • wow 45mm i have to run 34mm on the uk rallycars [ 2ltr] and 32mm for bigger than 2ltr ,mine now 2ltr . we have 320bhp , with 45mm I reckon you could get 450hbp or more ..,its a shame realy as the 34 and 32mm restrictors have slowed the 4wd turbo cars to much , to the extent that the mk2 escorts , most top cars are now 2.5ltr 330 bhp/900kg are actuly faster than the 4wd cars .

    • I don't think it would make that much of a difference. Talked about it with our tunner and with a slight boost and fuel increase we should be able to still push about 400-420whp without crazy cams, bigger turbo and/or anti-lag.

      • Been working with the steering rack this weekend, because it needed some attention after a full season. Also got a new ATL fuel cell which will be mounted before the tune and dyno. Tomorrow going to Serbia to get the revised box and also the newly produced spare one.

        • The long awaited dyno day came today. The result with 870cc injectors, 11,5 CR and 1,5 bar boost(couldn't get higher due to the pump petrol) with Shell V-Power is 427whp at 6200RPM and 550Nm(corrected my mistake) at 5500RPM with the revlimiter at 7400RPM.

A quick glimpse from the dyno:

              • Did some testing today to brake in the car's new brakes, and it ended with mixed feelings. The good thing was the car runs great, you'll see that in a video in a sec. but the brake pads turned out to be sh*t, they overheated after just 5 stopping attempts. So the job for tomorrow is get rid of the sh*tty pads and order new ones, probably gona go for Ferodo Premium.

                • First race is over with a podium result. We finished 3rd from the Supercars. There was a big chance for second place but a blown tire got in the way.
                  Here are some photos:

                      • Well I've been neglecting this forum a bit . So season ended with second place overall in the championship. For the last two race of the season we cranked up the boost and the results were 457whp and 597nm at 1.8bar with 11,5CR and a fuel mix of 50% 100 octane(Shell) and 50% E85. Sadly there was only one first place finish for us this year and it was at the last race. Here is a video from the A Final: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U0PpQ2rUYrU . And here is an on-board video from the same race: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7xv...ature=youtu.be .

                        • An epic car. Something not many people build. Seemed like you only need a 3 gear box though.

                          • This particular track is quite short. The other circuits allow 4th and on one particular track even 5th gear to be used with our ratios.

New season's about to start next week so to update the thread a bit.
The biggest difference is the 45mm restrictor we have to run:

Still managed to get decent power out of her, 437 at the wheels with the restrictor.
A bit of a refresh of the looks, with some inspiration from our friend Karl Werner from Austria with the S2 in the euro hillclimb championship:
