Yesterday we almost finished the rollcage, only the x's on the doors are left. The sound proofing was a nightmare to remove but with a heat gun it came off easily. We also swapped the rear axel, brakes and suspension, the steering rack, brake pumps and the "pedal box".

Everything is almost ready!!! The last few days were awful, full of work and problems. The engine mounts didnt match, so we cut the body mounts of a donor coupe we had and welded them to the new body. The second problem was that the subframe woudn't fit. It turned out that the car had been in an accident and it was a bit twisted. We straightened it with some hydraulic gizmo(not shure what its called in english) a friend brought. From that point work was going smooth. Electrics were in the car, fuel lines mounted, brakes installed and bleeded. Car started from the first try without problems. The only things left to do are cosmetic and easy to do. Here is a poor quality video from the first start: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xbc8V...ature=youtu.be

Long time no updates so lets dust off the thread. Season ended with 4th place overal but that's no biggie its just motivation for next year. In the last race the car showed some missfiring issiues. We thought through every possible scenario:fuel pumps, coils, sparkplugs etc... It turned out that the air/fuel mixture was running lean, this was immediately fixed with some methanol . Now for next season preparations have started(I know its a bit early but it wont hurt) and we are moving on from a dogbox to a sequential shifting setup. I'll try to keep the updates coming as often as possible.

Thanks mate! There are around 45 cars in the championship out of which 12 are turbocharged and 4wd so I guess its 4th of 12.

Size is 10-65-16 I believe NA00 is the compound it suits a 5J wheel which is hard to find in 16' and 4x108 so we used ford wheels which were obviously "modyfied". The diameter of the tire is 649mm.

Could be.... I'm sometimes confused with the writings on french tires . For example on the pirelli gravel tires it says 205-65-15 but on the bf goodrich it says 17-65-15 and they are both the same size.
