    Fitting of downpipe

So no start today, to much time went on make the downpipe fit.

First fitment -> Downpipe was hitting the gearbox so it had to be cut at the first bend and realigned.

Also had to cut of the flex to weld on a longer piece so there was room for the Wideband sensor and a little bracket to bolt the downpipe to the gearbox:

Finished downpipe with bongs for egt, lambda and wideband:

I can ask but I think it will be expensive, he was complaining a lot about the time spent

P.S. I mean that the one on the left looks exactly like mine, but the one on the right is a result of precise job

    Getting there

So my friend made me a new oil cooler bracket in stainless steel so it wont rust like the old one:

New oil cooler and bracket fitted:

Also got my new aircon rad installed, the old one was completly broken and also changed all the o-rings while I was at it:

Aux rad, crossmember, travers, boost hoses and Wagner IC back on. But had to cut and reweld the wagner IC bracket was way off.
Installed new o-ring but it was leaking so had to install the Marc O.

And finally a new Forge DV-008

So car should be stared on monday, just need to fix the following:
    • Exhaust+downpipe
    • Engine Oil, Coolant, Steering fluid
    • Bleed clutch
    • Airbox
    • Pump oil in the turbo
    • Last boost hoses and boost pipe
    • Mount EGT, Wideband and IAT sensor
    • Front bumper

    Slowly getting there

Slowly progress getting the car back to gether.

Gearbox and engine mounts all in place.

Heatshield back on - damn that was expensive.

Hose for the servo is back on and refurbished

Turbo, oil & water hoses in place and also got the WG back on. But the turbo from Iroz Motorsport was turn 180 degress the wrong way on the compressor side. A bit annoying to be honest.

I brought my aby head as a reference, so can't help with a file.

    Small progress

So started my sunday with a little hick up.

Thought we had done everything when converting the 7A head, but we missed something:

    After a bit of drilling:

Engine mounts from AK-motorsport ready for the engine:

    Engine ready to go in:

Engine is finally in and also managed to change all the water hoses while it was out:
