The washer bottle is used on early 80 avant #893955453C and coupe when they had headlight washers installed. And the hydraulic tank #893422371A was then installed as well.

But it gives a very nice OEM look to a water injection tank.

Also did the bomb today, found a new one from FEBI #26538 for around 230€ in Germany. Was a perfect fit.

Was a fairly easy job and changed the rubber mount (4A0614177) as well as the o-rings (N90405401) and the banjo bolt (443612275E).

Also flushed the system and pink oil came out, guess previous owner had put something "fun" in the hydraulic resovoir.

Got my washer fluid bottle (893955453C) for Water injection installed today and my compact hydraulic fluid bottle(893422371A).

Was a thight fit but besides a missing stud for the water tank it was a nice fit.

    Catch Tank

Finally got around to fitting K24R's LHD catch tank:

    In progress:

Hose for upper crank case ventilation to cyclone tank. To fit the cyclone I took of 60mm of the supplied hose from K24R that goes onto the lower crank case outlet. As you can see in picture below compared to above the cyclone sits a bit lower.

I routed the hose from the tank vent valve directly to the IM:

Inlet for catch tank from cyclone:

Outlet from catch tank to inlet in valve cover that goes to maf hose:

    Suspension and rear brake refurb

So got some time today to do the rear brakes, old ones where complety broken and was not working at all.

So new brembo disc and pads + FTE/trw calipers all from carondo.de

    Some install pics:

    Old calipers:

Calipers, pads and disc all ready for bleeding:

Also managed to fix my bilstein shocks. I read in this thread about a height difference of 20mm between the bilstein shock and oem for S4 B5. Funny thing is that the same shocks that bilstein list for the rear for the S2 avant are also listet for the S4 B5.

This is the shot with the rear bilstein 24-062145 B8 for S2 avant:
Before - Height from floor to top of arc = 66cm:

After - Height from floor to top of arc = 64cm:

In the machine making the groove. The depth of the groove is 0,6mm and the width is 1,7mm.

With an extra groove 20mm below:

    Comparison before and after:

I will try and fill it up later today, but I would imagine 3-4l.

That should be sufficient to my use, plan is just to use it for extra cooling at first at least.

Mine is a combi of AEM and aquamist.

I got the 30-3012 kit from AEM and then I'm planning to use the hfs3 controller.
