Wanted my stock aux gauges back, so had to come up with a place to have boost and AFR gauge. First came up with this, but realized they're too low to see while driving, having gear leaver in front or my long leg



So had to rethink it and only option was to move climate control panel down and place gauges in it's place. Can see them clearly and nothing is blocking the view. Still thinking of how to make surround for the climate control panel, but I'm sure I will come up with something.

Also got rid of all the squeaking from center console which I will write up, as I think it's worth doing for any C4 owner sooner or later.

All of us C4 drivers so need the small gauge holders that go into / replace / mimic the centre face vents. I've seen them in photos but cannot trace where to get them as yet.

Would like a boost, air/fuel mixture and a intake air temp gauge. and maybe an oil pressure gauge if a panel was made to accommodate four gauges.

Someone with access to cad and a plastic printer would be able to make up a 'flat' plastic panel to hold four gauges to replace the oem three vent unit, imo.

Just need to find who ?

For some reason don't like replacing vents with gauges Didn't your UrS come with aux gauges from factory? Mine has oil pressure and temperature and clock.

Based on that cloth interior being the same as my 94 S4 V8 avant's I would say that the code is: N0D/CK anthracite (black) cloth.

This should keep me busy for the week and a bit I have off work. Both struts will be coming off and cleaned of rust and painted with some underbody sealant. At the same time I will sort the rust out on wings and clean/spray wheel arches. After that off to Audi for 4 wheel alignment.



I bought bumpstops, and then realised I have some already which are shorter, I assume I must use ones that are shorter due to 1BE lowered suspension?



Also, these came with the shocks, I know where the nut goes (doh!!!) but how about the rest?

That should keep you busy for a while. Based on the bump stops i have in mine atm the small ones are the ones to use.Where did you get them from?

Hopefully weather will hold I checked 7zap and the bigger ones have the correct PN for AAN/ABH, but the small ones doesn't have any part numbers and not even sure when I bought them. Might need to go over my eBay purchase history and check.

Also ordered new steering damper as mine was very not working

Think your right,just been out to the shed and the part i had in my hand is the same bumpstop that was in the 2.8 quattro with sport suspension.

Could you measure the height of your bumpstops, please

The 2nd from left is a cap for the nut, the plastic disc sits beneath the bump stop. The last one on the left is a collar if your struts are the wider diameter variant.

Thanks. I was thinking that metal cap goes on the nut but didn't see it on any of my 3 C4's I've had so wasn't sure.

If that collar is included I will probably need it.
