Ok thanks. What pressure regulator did you end up using?

Finished up the exhausts by welding on brackets for mounts and insulating the underside of the car and the pipes were required.

Started painting and fitting the bulkhead panels and quarter cards.

Yes it's my own work with the tig. Only the back box was bought from Fox for a urq. The down pipes were the hardest part. A 3 inch downpipe and a 2 inch wastgate pipe are real tight.

Look like it came out pretty well Can't decide whether I should tackle mine with mig welder.

Should be fine with mig. Not just so tidy but very fast to weld. Its cutting the bends to shape that takes a bit of skill and time.

MIG will be fine. Majority of commercial exhausts are MIG welded - Miltek etc
There are special gas mixes available for stainless, but you should get on OK with normal 80/20 or thereabouts mix. Welds will be a bit dirtier.

Welding stainless is just like welding mild steel. Easier even as it seems harder to burn through.

Yeah, I find SS easier to weld with a MIG than the equivalent wall thickness MS, as you say it's doesn't burn through as quickly.

Great project by the way Des, will be one hell of a weapon once it's up and running.

More bulkheads fitted. Fuel hoses ran and clipped now so fuel system almost finished.
