Isn't there an ability to make it plug n play? Like putting a female connector to the board that's like one on the maf?

You can't get the female connector, well not without a huge cost increase anyway, don't you think he would have done this if he could have?

Yea, the only way to make the female connector would be CNC.
I don't think the actual cutting is that bad though. The MAF adapter just becomes the new connector.

So, I finished up the firmware.
        I have:
        * Firmware mappable to 4096 points, 0.001 volts precision (overkill, but I have the free room, so why not, and why complicate things with interpolation).
        * XDF for TunerPro and C++ plugin for TunerPro that allows me to adjust stuff.
        * Tested the firmware with a potentiometer on my development board, tested some curves, everything works as expected.

So really now all that is left is making a board, and then getting the calibration data.
Once this is done, I will try and beta test with some people.
Need to get some china housings though.

Been working on the board a lot.
Electrically it is complete, and I got the board dimensions down so far to 5cm x 2.5cm x 1cm. Quite small.

I also came up with the way to package the entire thing.
The board will be inside a weather proof casing, rated for dust, water etc.

There will be four wires ending in a MAF connector coming out of one end, and three wires out of the other end, which will have to be attached by the user.
The three wires can be attached using vampire taps onto the existing connector, or using quick splice connectors or soldered. For the quick splice ones, the only thing you'd need are scissors and a pair of pliers. I'd say that's as DIY as it goes.

This way I can make this thing completely weather proof, and the installation will be simple.
Electrically, it is protected against connecting those 3 wires wrong in any combination.

                    Really nice progress.

                    How about this option?

I don't think it will be ready until August.
I am trying to get a working prototype for my UK July visit, but not sure if I will manage yet.
