      • I tried to find 8A2612105A here in North America (canada) and it seems pretty rare ...
Anyone knows one that came from a car that was sold in North America that would do the trick ? i.e. that I can source in a scrap yard ?

        Cheers

                  • Over here this seems to give me a master cylinder ... Ans it is not in 7zap either.

                    Any other suggestions ?

                    Would this fit ?

Brake Pressure Booster for 89-95 Corrado, 85-92 Golf, 85-92 Jetta, 90-97 Passat. ?

If I use the 7a master cylinder ? or will the one with the model mentioned above work (if I replaced the 7a with it) ?

                    Thanks

                      • Guys, what hose/line you fit from manifold to booster? And what about one way valve? There is 191611933E with two outlets.

                          • Did you get the cabriolet there? Then yes....

                            • I thought the Cabriolet was the exact same thing as the 90 ... so with hydraulic brake system ... No ?

So ... What is the important part ?

The diameter of the master cylinder needs to match the one of the Servo (Brake Booster) ?

i.e. 7a Coupe Quattro has a 25.4mm master cylinder ... can I take any brake booster that has that diameter ? Can other (for example smaller) brake booster be fitted ?

Because there seem to be the VW T4 that has a 25.4mm master cylinder as ours ... will this work ?

                              Thanks
