Threaded the wrong holes? Hub caliper lug side should be straight thru and brackets should be threaded for caliper.

I was a bit concerned about strength given the bracket dimension requirements, so over engineered these somewhat... they're beastly
They're also rather lighter than they would have been in mild steel
