    • Fuellines

Just got a delivery of 7,5 m Cu-Ni pipe and an assortment of wadeconnectors, including T-pieces because i´m planning to use a fuelpressuregauge.

Have any of you thought about removing the fuelfilter from that horribly unattainable place and doing the feed pipe all the way up to the connector on top of the tank, and relocating the filter to a better place? I´m thinking of putting the filter somewhere closer to the engine?

        • you need to flare the end of the fuel line:

Then use some 8mm fuel hose:

Then use a banjo with 8mm hose tail:

                • I think its OK to use rubber for short flexible pieces, I would use as much metal line as possible as it will not be damaged by stones etc hitting the underside of the car, i think rubber hose will deteriorate a lot faster. With rubber hose you should use the stuff with the cotton braiding to protect it

                        • You can get specific fuel line clips which are similar to jubilees. Any decent motor factor place will have them.

They basically pull and grip all the way around rather than leaving a tiny bit I gripped by the fastener like jubilees do
