  • For reference

Test fit with the non v band housing, clocked to clear the oil line, not going to work, straight into the engine mount sheet metal.

V band housing with the v band cut off with a hacksaw, markings filed off, clocked to clear the oil line with the internal bpv still fitted.

Looks doable with a 45 or 90 silicone elbow coming forward to the intercooler.

    • So did anyone ever try building a porsche/volvo hybrid (k26/8 wheel and housing I think was the idea)?

      • It ended up being K26/6 on mine

        • Did you use the Porsche exhaust wheel though? The k26/6 housing is the bolt on hotsite, and I know some people have machined k24 housings to fit, I was just wondering if anyone had fitted the larger turbine wheel and housing.

          • I just used the standard CHRA Volvo unit, then a standard k26/6 from the Porsche. Bolted them together, no problems.

            • Has anyone found a compressor map for this turbo?
