s2avant did you fit your Neuspend rear roll bar?
Was it plug and play or did you have to make some adaptation?
    How is the handling now?

Not fitted yet I'm afraid. Another example of how easy it is to get parts. It's finding time to fit them that's the problem.

Was going to do it at work but new registration is out soon so no free time on the ramps. I've got to go down to Jasons to have the belly pan put back on (they forgot it when it was in last) so I'll try and get them to fit it while I'm there.

I have looked at the neuspeed and the rs2 bar I have on the car at the moment. They are identical to look at (apart from the neuspeed being thicker). The rear suspension is identical on B4 A80 quattros and B5 A4 quattros so fitting should be a doddle. i've got all new bolts and drop links ready for it.

I'll post a new thread about it as soon as it's on.

        For the coupe owners:

Audi 4000(80/90 is europe? basically pre 1990 I suspect) come with a 22m or 21m front sway bar that will work on the rear.

        Cheers

Here is a link of what is involved:

Here it is! After being told by Blau they were out of stock of their rear sway bar kit and might not have stock for several months, I set out on an expedition to build my own kit. Now for the hard part: I can't weld, so this was to be an entirely bolt-on setup. The car is an early-build 1990...

Neuspeed is on and feels great. Hopefully I will get a chance to take some photos of it ( and the subframe mounts) in situ tonight and start a thread about it.

Initial thoughts is that it's much better around bends. Car feels a lot more stable and flat. I've only got it on soft settings at the minute. Once I've got bored of that I'll switch it to stiff.

I'm looking into some custom rose jointed drop links for it (and the front - could be another group buy ) as the new RS2 ones won't last long I fear. I killed one of the stock ones I fitted with the RS2 rear ARB in less than 12 months!!

Will you be at combe? You can have a play in mine to see how it feels. I've got RS2 dampers and front ARB (had rear as well before the neuspeed went on) with H&R springs so it should be a fairly good match.

Realise my description wasn't very technical but I wont pretend to know all the technical terms to use. Heres a little check list:

                  Less body roll
                  Less understeer

More twitchy when you ease off the power in a bend (slightly - although will probably be a lot more noticable on hard setting)

I'm getting used to the soft setting before I change to the stiff. Need to learn when it will snap away first.

I got the photos taken tonight so I'll probably post them up on Sunday. Getting stuff ready for combe and having an early night tonight.

                    Whiteline bar fitted to CQ20v

Very pleased with the results, so far I’ve done 100 miles in the rain and found it much more stable and planted on corners.

Cruising at 80 on the motorway it feels like the steering is spring loaded straight ahead, steering also weights up nicely on turn in.

Slow speed it tends to fight a little, for example pulling out of a T junction it seems to push the nose and resist turn in a little more. Once you’re moving and the loads increase it seems to go away. I found in a car park if you wind on full lock and drive off it used to scrabble the inside rear wheel, now it doesn’t 

The best bit is fast B roads, you can really throw the car around and you can also change direction much faster without the weight catching up with you. Seems like I can do everything 10mph faster which is nice :mischeif:

At the moment I am using the middle setting, I will give the stiffer setting a go and see what its like. Well worth doing 9/10
