  • Bilstein B12 suspension kit urs6 , too high in front

As the topic states Ive installed a B12 suspension kit and the rear fell down too a place I like and also the front dropped a bit, but not as much as I want, What should I do? order H&R springs fro the front as Eibach dosent seem to have any other springs for the front ordered the 19-2400 kit witch contains sprngs for the fron labeld 27001 or something like that...

you can say that you get 2 fingers between rear arches and wheel and 4 fingers between front arch and whell

Do Eibach offer any springs that can lower the car more in the fron that´s sutiable with my Bilstein shocks?

Eibach isn't quite easy to get hold of.

Here's a link for S6 Eibach lowering springs.

I would be slightly annoyed with the b12 kit if thats all it lowers by. Just checked my S6 saloon and on 1BE Audi Sports springs i can get 2 and a bit fingers on rear arch and 4 and bit on front arch.

Vorsprung: That´s the actual springs that´s in the kit I want it lower in the front, maybe I should buy some random 55/40 kit and just use the front springs... Don´t know how much it will alter the traction by doing this... it feels really good but looks like a toad or something that's worn out in the rear... I mean everything is new in the chassie, except the rear shocks top mount bushing. But if that´s the case then I should have been higher in the rear if I bought new ones. Just want it lower in the front. Haven't seen this issue when looking for picture of cars with same suspension... don´t get it.

From what i am understanding you have the very same kit in the link i put up? Have you put that kit on the car? And how it looks in that picture is with the B12 kit on.Yes?

By the way the rear looks perfect as is in that picture!

Just one more thing there was always a much bigger gap in the front arch when new than the rears and nobody worried about it looking worn back then. That's how audi made the car.I understand most seam to want to change the front by dropping to match the rear though.

Understand fully. So anyone looking for a lower front is going to be very disappointed then with the Eibach springs.

By the way,are those B12 shocks lowering shocks?

I don't know, The kit is made for each other, so i think so it should lower 35mm in The front and 30mm in The rear... That all I know, but looking on other cars with this kit The stance is much better and The way i like it with a lower front...

Is it possible you have the wrong front springs or maybe springs made for a V8 version of the car?

Just remembered I had the same issue when I fitted B12 Bilstein Eibach kit to my B5 RS4. I had to use the thinner S4 front spring seats.

                    Here is a thread about fitting the B5 S4 B12 kit to RS4, http://audisrs.com/ftopic30206-0-asc-165.php

Maybe there is a clue there

My front end looks a little high on Eibachs as well, I thought it would settle but I haven't put a lot of miles on it yet. Maybe some abuse will make them settle?
