For now on my S2 and RS2 I have replaced diff lock bulbs, climatronic bulbs, speedo bulbs, and some bulbs in the central switches. Now after read this 3D I will change also the bulbs or led of all switches that are burned. I have a question, where can I find original bulbs and led for replacement? I don't want brighter bulbs or led, I want the same brightness of the original bulbs and led.
Thanks a lot!

I bought bulbs from Maplins... But I dont know if they ship oversea's
Interior light switch button now fitted and working great.
Revised schematic first. The permanent 12v is so that the switch works at all times, either with ignition on or off. The switched 12v is so that the switch icon is illuminated like all the others next to it.
The relay is a five pin 30 amp relay I got off ebay with a connector and some flying leads.
The connector for the switch was new from Audi along with the pins and wires. 8L0 971 972 for the connector at approx £3 and 000 979 135 for the wires with pins at approx £2 for two of them which have a pin on either end, so you just cut them in half.
Permanent 12v I took from a previously installed power socket that I'd wired into the passenger footwell.
Switched 12v was taken from the switched 12v wire I'd previously wired in to my Becker headunit, it ultimately comes from the rear of the lights on warning buzzer under the drivers parcel shelf.
All the earth's went to the earth post that is near the bonnet release lever, just joined them together into a ring tag and fixed it there.
That left one wire to run along the inner cill trim and up the door post to the door switch.
There's two wires that attach to the door switch, a brown/yellow and a brown/white. The retaining screw that attaches the door switch to the body acts as an earth. Attach the wire coming from pin 87 of the relay to the brown/white wire, I opted to snip off it's crimped terminal, join the two wires and then crimp on a new terminal.
That's it. Now the switch when used just earth's out the brown/white wire, the same as the door switch does when you open your door.
All the interior lights come on at once.
So? what shall I link this up to then?

Eh up jason, congrats on the news of a little on on the way.
Could you use that button for a switchable map i.e. sports mode?
Hello Jim, how's you?
Yeah, that's been mentioned before, but I don't have a switchable map and don't really intend on getting one mate.
Possibly going to link it via a relay to my switched feed on the headunit. Press the funk switch for the tunes instead of being linked to the ignition.
That or link it to a neon sign in the rear window, that tells the neds in their Corsets to nob off
