But it does have over 300bhp now. Supposedly a 380hp "kit" but i doubt there is that much power. Aiming for 450-500 when done
Volcano rs: NO way the white lights are going back on. not my style.
Jon441cc: "slipperwagon +" then?
ah, and the shiny exhaust is going away very soon. I will have the diesel style in 2x3" in stainless steel, NOT polished. All chrome and bling is going away.
On Tuesday i ended up on our lokal racetrack testing the s2 for the very first time.
It was a good feeling leaving some nice cars behind, but i need to learn more how to drive right and find the fastest line thru the turns. Luckyli i had the toyo's on so i didnt understeer out of the first corner..
But, i got even more convinced that a brake-upgrade is a MUST closly followed by h&r coilovers and the Neuspeed RARB. once these nice upgrades is on then it will go much much faster (i hope). hehe
I also did drive the **** out of the original oilcooler, so it had a few gasgets blown = messy engine bay
I did got some pictures, but only bad ones, so here are a few bad ones. We had a videocamera onboard with us too, but that desided to take the day off after 3/4 of the 1 lap.
PS: the blue Volvo 240 @ the end of the straight got a Dahlback audi 5pot with 609hp RWD!!! AWESOME SOUND!
so here are som piccies:
A Cossie (one of the nicest i've ever seen) hunting me and Breitling (here on the forum) down and killing us on the straight:
My front tyers after 10 laps of "adaptive" understeering racing:
Rear Tyres after 10 laps of a little sideways action (not much really..haha):
