last time i went for a ride in it, the engine startet to make lots of strange noises. so i took out the engine, and found a washer in a place that the washer shouldn`t be.
it`s soon finished again just waiting for some parts. hope that i can fire it up on saturday, so i can have som fun again with it
hehe, i like the wheels to. but they aren't allowed on the street because they are motorsports wheels only. but i dont think anyone will notice that they aren't allowed.

Yes, were my first time driving it. Been there (too) many times infact.
It was nice to drive it myself after riding it with friends the past years, and get a try to beat some old cossies
It's a shame the cam did go out or else i've would have uploaded some videos from the "incar" view, but some ousidefilming might come as soon as i get them from my friend.
About the brake upgrade you refer too, that is a bit expensive for me.. hehe, but maybe later on. I also have the 996 monos just lying here whitout carriers, pads and discs
On Tuesday i ended up on our lokal racetrack testing the s2 for the very first time.
It was a good feeling leaving some nice cars behind, but i need to learn more how to drive right and find the fastest line thru the turns. Luckyli i had the toyo's on so i didnt understeer out of the first corner..
But, i got even more convinced that a brake-upgrade is a MUST closly followed by h&r coilovers and the Neuspeed RARB. once these nice upgrades is on then it will go much much faster (i hope). hehe
I also did drive the **** out of the original oilcooler, so it had a few gasgets blown = messy engine bay
It's realy fun with those trackdays arranged by picoracing! Not to many cars, just pay up and drive all you want.
I also tried my S2 Coupe for the first time that tuesday. I totaly need that brake upgrade! The stock ones just cant take the beating...

Yes, thats right. It was alot of smoke after the first rounds... After the second and third set of rounds the disks where only red
Nowdays it's only polishing and to/from work driving and im low on cash..
in a few weeks i'll finally be switching to a new ported head w/new cams, get the ex-manifold on, injectors, mapping and if the £££ matches up then i'll be throwing in new rods/bearings too.
Also expecting the Neuspeed rarb arriving soon from Mr.Corey here! ( )

anyway, i did full oil change here the other day (engine, gear and diff), and i also got my friend (peder) to chop off the aweful exhaust tip and to weld on a new diesel "style" one. ah, so much better in the mean time. i need to find a new rear silencer as the one i have now is only for 1 3" exit. i need two holes to get it 'my way'.

it looks like the exhaust tip is too much to the left, but that is due to the angle and the fact that is a bit shorter than the old one so i won't build out of the fender so much.
I also got my hands on some video of me driving, but that aint sutable for public viewing

yeah i'm looking foreward to it too. it's like every where i look nowdays there is some articles about the 'ring and how much fun everyone that rides it have.

A new weekend, a new track to go play on :mischeif:
On saturday i were on our contry's main vw/audi-club event and there turned out to be alot of nice VAG cars waiting to rip som asphalt on NTS (Vaalerbanen) in Norway.

Also, i've got a problem when turning left with the car when standing still/ or at low speeds.
It's like a old squealing sound, but it appears to be gone when its rain or moisture ouside. could this be the topmount on the damper? (the rubber thingie).
it does not squeal when turning right.
Well, As my freind tried out my shortshift, then he had to have one aswell!
So yesterday we fitted his and i must say, this is such a good and wellthought of upgrade for the s2/rs2 and it should come out from factory with it fitted!
We both are doing small changes to the cars so nothing will happen during s2 meet @ Nurburgring in August this year. On the picture you can see the Rs2 dude (and his übernice ride) which im traveling with.
I've just recived my Neuspeed rarb last friday so today i will give it a try today.
may look long after some sideways action as my tyers stick as h*ll.
Also this years goal is to have a car that can handle a trip down to the 'ring, some "racing" and back again whitout failing. So all the vital things are to be changed/looked over and ofcorse the big brak kit does have a priority now.
