Finally the day came when the apolstry shop called and said my door cards were finished.. Not a day to early, i gave them away in November 2021..
They made a good job, but its not like factory finish i would say. Even if i want it to be as new, i think i need to realize that thats not possible. Anyway, im please with the outcome. The holes in my front door cards are repaired/covered with new black "Mercedes-fabric" and they are retrimmed with Audi original Alcantara (Kobalt blue) on the doors.
I glued the front pockets back with some epoxy at the "pins". Now they sit much more firm and steady than before. Then i had to cut out for the door handles, door openers and speakers for the rears. I used a contact glue to fasten the fabric on the backside of the door cards where i cut holes, as it was before.
Polished and waxed the carbon fibre trims
The front ones are ready to mount on the car. The rears is almost finished, just have to mount my new speakers and do some wiring to them.
This job has taken a lot of time and effort, but yeah, i love the blue alcantara/blue carbon fibre combination. Im proud of my work with this, but i dont want to do it ever again!
Only the seats left to do later on
Here is some pictures of the the work.

Hehe, yes, a nice garage or place with space to build garage was one of the things that was important.

Not so much have been done to the car. Still waiting on my door cards from the apolstry company... Been a long time now, i have called him two times to ask if he forgot about me. I hope to have them soon so i can assemble the cars interior/speakers.
Some weeks ago me and the girlfriend bought a garage with a house. So in the beginning of june we will move from the apartment and finally i will have my own garage. Then i can have both the RS2 and the UrS4 under the same roof..
Will get back with updates as soon as something happens
Also got a new daily car after some years of nagging on the GF. (We have only use for one car, i drive a service van to work), and the girlfriend had a KIA

Hi, and happy new year to everyone!
I saw i didn't update the status here in a while. I'm still waiting for my door cards to get back. But i have things to do anyway, so it doesen't really matter.
I have changed lights in all seven window buttons and also the rear mirror switch. I really recommend the guide here if you are thinking about doing this job:

That should work well. To be exact, the voltage when driving is around 13.5V and you lose around 0.6 (depending on the LED) over the LED itself. With a built-in its even easier, as there is room for the resistor in the switch, however not to have to bother with it should make installation easier.

Good luck! I'm curious how it turns out.

When my RS2 goes out of winter-sleep (it's covered right now) I'll check my diff-lock switch to see if the lights work properly.

Please know that the resistor value that Audi used in the mirrow switches is way too low for LED's to survive long term. I think they did this do get a decent light output out of the LED's available at the time. You can now buy better high intensity LED's for this, so you need to replace the resistor with a correct value (around 800 Ohms), so they will not die prematurely.
I wrote a (although in Dutch) guide for this here.
I was surprised also, didn't know it either. The leds i bought for the window switches has a built in resistor, about 1200 Ohms if i did the math right. 12V/0,01A=1200ohm. Will se how they work.

I have the DIFF, orange triangle and green led working but not the normal lighting. I'll add it to the list of fixes...
