Nice show. Unfortunately I was the only Audi there. A few nice Porsche cars and a couple of lovely mk1 Caddies.

I haven't used the car for a month and on the way to the show I got violent boost cut. Cry.
So when home broke out vcds

Looks like I'm going to have to break out the smoke machine and check for leaks. These cars!

They sit at the bottom of the lever which pushes the flap down when you move the roof forwards. See the parts diagram on previous page.

I managed to damage almost all my plastic trim when removing and refitting over the years, well done on a great job

Really appreciate and applaud the detail and the sharing of such detail in the work you do. I doubt most, understand the process and stopping to photograph and share the details......what you do really helps all of us....

All back together. Getting this trim in without breaking anything is always a challenge. It's a sort of chicken and egg thing as each trim wants to be fitted first.

My boy printed me some new sunroof clips and they are working well. Let me know if you need any as he printed a few extra.

Off to a Classic car show tomorrow.

    Cheers Greg.
I did contact them and they said they don't do that part. My boy is going to print me some.

Now, it's been a while since I updated as the guy doing my headliner has had it for four weeks!
    Today it was finally ready.

So I wasted no time getting it fitted.
    I'm using this adhesive.

The foam covering the wire connectors was disintegrating so I made some new ones.

Everything went to plan. Just a few trims to finish off tomorrow.

If you get in touch with https://kustom3dprototyping.com/?syc...2-50b42c9d5de5 they may be able to help with the sunroof part. I ordered some of the sunroof clips sometime ago as one broke https://kustom3dprototyping.com/coll...ad-liner-b3-b4

The car needs a little paint here and there. Nothing major. Before I get that done I wanted to remove a few parking dents. This guy did an amazing job.

He is based near Haverfordwest if anyone wants his number. Highly recommended.

After two coats of epoxy it got two coats of satin black.

Then I ordered some 2mm neoprene tape.

And some tiger seal in the screw holes.

And red rubber grease in the track. White grease on the cord.

All back together. Everything went well but this little clip broke. Anyone have one?

The bit that clips onto the metal
