Hoping to, I REALLY don't want to pull the engine or gearbox again.

F**k me, this car really is jinxed! Broke down yesterday and had to be towed home, looks like the timing pin has broken off the flywheel

    Halfords car paint

I've painted the cam cover with it before and it seems quite durable.

You now need to do something about the inlet manifold which is ugly looking!

A few people have asked me this, so I did a thread the other day

Not sure if my coils are the same as ABY so you'd have to check.

Re-torqued the ARP head studs today and swapped back to my modified 7A cam cover. Gave it a new coat of paint first as it got burnt when TIG welding

Then sanded and polished the raised ridges

    And re-fitted

I was hoping to test drive it this weekend but as we got abot a foot of snow last night there's not much chance of that

I have a set of Avant battery cables so must try to get around to relocating the battery to the boot and then cut out the old battery tray. I relocated my main radiator which has taken up most of the space where the carbon canister used to be with it's shroud.

That's why I had to fit the catch tank, when I had my car mapped it was pulling tons of oil into the MAF-turbo hose, soo much that it was covering the MAF wire. Fitted one of Rusty's seperators and a catch tank and the inlet has been dry ever since. You're right about the 3B engine bay being tight though, if you look back through this thread there are pictures of where I put everything.

I've had the 16mm outlet on the back of the head since I fitted the catch tank, I just thought I'd fit the baffle to limit the amount of liquid going through the system.
