Awesome, I was wondering just the other day about the best way to solve this problem. What adhesive did you use?

When I removed the interior A pillar trims almost all the mounting tabs broken nt sure if I broke them or they were already broken. I put a wanted thread on the forum but nobody had any with tabs in tact, so I decided to re-make them.

I had some 2mm aluminium so I cut some strips, hammered tem until they matched the profile of the trim, them cut a slot in and TIG welded ( not my best welding, need more practice on Ali ) a new tab on. Then I bonded them in place with polyurethane adhesive, checked them tonight after 24hrs curing and they are way stronger than the originals and they fit perfectly

Now I can get on with trimming them.

Sunroof blind re-trimmed today. Also did the trim pieces around the edge of the rear hatch, forgot to get pics of those

    See here for a how-to:-

The foam would be easier to cover imperfections of old glue!

Not had chance to do any more yet I started cleaning all the old glue off the headlining panel last night, what a s**t job that is!! I'm not using the foam backed material like yours so the glue seems to be holding OK.

How is the trimming going? I had to add more glu on the rear good panel as it was coming off. Works well now

    Great, thanks.

Looks good in the pictures, are you happy with the finish?

Remember to use glue on both sides on the headliner if you have bought the one with foam backing. It needs it!
