It will become a lot more sensitive with little throttle movement. This would be not a problem for drag racing, but for track or street you want progressive response.
And OE size throttle boring should be good enough for 750HP, so no gains for my setup.

off topic: what will you do with GT3071??

you are looking for more power and torque with the new CT???

and if i dont lose nothing...you are still keeping the stock rods true??

good luck with Vems and the new scores

        GT3071R is already sold

Yes, I want more torque and top end HP. Let's see if I succeed with that.

If you read my project thread you see I already have uprated H-Beam Scat rods, so no issues there.

          vems

          Bram

Who is going to map your Vems?

Im still looking a both options (vems or a remap at pedro). But the company which sells vems in the netherlands has only a 2-wheel dynobank and i dont really want to weld anything to make my car fitted for a 2 wheel dynobank.

mapping the vems with quite a good map is not something that needs a professional tuner, although at some point a professional tuner will get the best out of it

So I did a few more things on the car now:
                • VEMS is installed, really took only a little hour or so to put cables through the firewall and make the WB connector + place VR harness, etc.
                • I took a dead MAF and ripped out all parts that restrict the flow, so I can still try to use my airbox
                • Extended cables for Throttle pot meter and intake temp sensor
                • Got myself a ABY/AAN coil top cover to close the open cam cover again after I sold the old one with all my coils, Just need to get it cleaned

Currently I am mounting the CT355 and putting in the EGT probe inside the hotside. How far should it be in the exhaust area? The tip is really thin and I think it should be in contact with the exhaust gasses, but should the thicker part of the probe also be inside?
It would make a difference with exhaust gasses flow if only the small tip gets inside I guess.

After the turbo is fitted I should fit the new turbo oil drain and get ready to fire up the car

EGT sensor is well deep enough.

I had a good weekend to work on the car. It's nearly ready to crank it for the first time in 3 months

Did someone else also notice that the cooling hose at the throttle body is rubbing against metal parts in that area, or did I mount it wrong?

Never mind that. Is that a piece of silicone hose with a zip tie securing it?

Zip ties are very good for that purpose
