  • If the smoke is black - it means the pope has not yet been elected...maybe that is the problem...maybe your vehicle is not in tune with religious events?

        • Have you tried getting a price off Bosch or a Bosch dealer like Andrew Page? I bought the whole MAF inc housing and only paid around £120 for it.

              • The ebay one isn't Bosch. If it was it would say so as it would be a bargain...

Plus on their website the SKU is a £45 MAF made by someone else. They sell the Bosch one for £99 with a £24 reimbursement on return of the old - so £9 cheaper than GSF.

Personally I'd order the GSF one to my local store but I have the luxury of it being 5mins from the station on my way home...

                  • Absolutely.

I was hoping to just find the sensor blade but it doesn't look likely.

Nope, can't say that until the car is pressure tested.

                      • IT'S ALIVE!!!

Thanks to AndyP I received a brand new RS4 MAF on loan to test out last week.

As my MAF housing is sealed into my RS2 airbox i was reluctant to remove it to just replace the entire MAF, so I embarked upon trying to just replace the sensor, thinking i could just remove it with my security torx heads in my socket set.

It turns out it's not your standard security torx at all, and after being unable to find the correct type in Halfords realised the bolts are infact a T25 5-tip security torx, which appear to be ultra rare, but thanks to Amazon i had a set delivered this afternoon.

                        I can confirm the MAF sensor PN is F 00C 2G2 047.
