Harness is a good call if your doing a lot of track days

I seem to recall you have the top end of a 3" DP so it shouldn't be too much bother to fabricate something.

I don't like giving people lifts either, slows the car down too much

Yup, should stiffen up the back a bit, also means I can fit a harness.

Good excuse not to give people lifts.....

Ultimately I would like to re carpert the whole interior, GT2 style. Need the new screen sealed in first though.

Its a 3" cat/downpipe back, I will make up the downpipe bottom section.

That cage should help with rigidity as well as adding some element of safety, the welding looks very tidy as well, nice job.

I'm guessing your back seats and headlining won't be making a reappearance.

Is that a full 3" system with down pipe? It's hard to tell from the pic's.

Rear half cage fitted, massive thanks to Scott Mcminn. He got a hoop from custom cages, then made up the rest. I got to "help" and watch, very reasonable price

Thanks Greg, any issues with the SRF or just the Motul is rated better?

    Fully booked, 50 cars iirc.

Next Knockhill open pit lane day is Sunday 11th Jan 11:00-15:00

I dont know when the first Track Scotland Knockhill day is.

It was great fun, used a **** lot of fuel though, I filled the car to the neck, took 60 litres and used it all!

I thought I had best check my catch tank, full of oil.

Knockhill is all right hand corners (I have had no issues with oil getting thrown out on the road), I am going to need a swirl pot with a drain before the catch tank, or ditch the block breather and vent from the head (that will require some valve cover mods).
