Rack is going to be a bitch, box out will make life easier for sure. I would go to ABY ECU . More expensive than the dizzy setup but less pissing about once it's installed and more reliable long term
From the looks of Alberts dyno chart you shouldn't loose much if any response
Poly bush everything, makes a huge difference. Unplugging the N75 will improve your driving, help you learn to carry more speed
    Thanks for the sanity check

Would you make a COP loom like your current one but with long wires for ecu coil signal and dizzy hall or whatever you do with the coil?

Straight swap as Steve says, but 2.6 turns v 2.8 lock to lock. ABY rack feels lighter than the 3B with the servotronic off.

Not great access to swap it, Kit did it with the IM off, Alex did it in situ, I will have the gearbox out so should be easier, battery tray is cut out so should help.

It's identical, so a direct fit. With the exception of the servotronic electrical connector.

    So current winter plans

    Fit wagner intake
    Fit 3" exhaust
    Replace MFTS with VDO sender
    remap
cam cover vents/baffles (time for something that welds alloy?)

I am adding to the list

    SRE clutch
ABY rack (easier with the box out?)

Might as well drop the front subframe at the same time to alloy bush, replace all wishbones with poly and get an alignment done.

Anything else whilst I am in there?

I am torn on turbos, I can buy Albert's turbo and sell the RS2, so should not cost any money, I will be getting a live map either way and already have bigger injectors.

So do I want 370bhp or 450bhp? (I am concerned the billet k26 with a modified exhaust turbine may not be as nice to drive?) Any opinions from folk that have gone up from RS2 spec?

Also do I go COP so 100% no misfires?

Your car did look like it was trying to wheelie most of the way up the straight!

Proper brake fluid should hopefully sort the brakes, but yeah no load on them in the wet.

Unplugging the N75 would probably be very good for smoothing me out.

PS. I highly recommend unplugging your n75 for a few laps just for a giggle.

My federal RSRs seemed to do a fair job. I'm in desperate need of stiffer springs for the 90. I run koni adjustables and stock s2 springs. It bottoms out at the bottom of the chicane and has some serious reverse rake even when parked up.

At least if February is wet n cold, your brakes might last longer.

Like the idea of having dedicated wheels so I can travel back to Aberdeen and not have to worry about ripping up tyres on track.
My tyres came good after the drive back home but took me a long time to clean my wheels of brake dust and rubber
Got some video of you after passing me for a few laps, couldn't keep up on the straight..........Looking for RS2 turbo now!
Will have to get it uploaded once I get home.

    cheers

    Steve
Yup track wheels/tyres would be nice, I appear to have stuff burnt into my wheels, they are minging.

    Video would be great, thanks.

Turbo envy, am am looking at an RS2 billet now

Interesting, I did not know that.

Yeah, the suspension is too soft with the current amount of grip, slicks would just bottom it out. Plus brutal on the rest of the car as you say.

Also the engine oil control cant deal with the current grip level, and I know people have problems on slicks with oil pressure.

I am leaning towards A048s just now (with some pikey suspension stiffening).
