Good man excellent choice of turbo you'll be well happy with the setup!
Was it just the turbo or the I5 kit including water lines and silicon hose etc?
Did you order direct from 034 or via Nononsense?
Cheers Jamo! Yes, I'm pretty convinced I've bought the turbo to suit the way I like to drive And I've certainly been deliberating about it long enough..
Bought the kit with the lines and MAF hose, direct from 034, by phone.
Avus 16s when I came to yours, before that RS4 Reps, before that genuine RS4s, before that Avus 16s (a different set..)
I've had to space the fronts 5mm to clear the steering arm, the bolts now only have about 3 threads holding so I'm not driving it at the mo, going to look at grinding the steering arms a bit
You could do whats been done to mine john and get longer bolts, my front set are currently quite a bit longer than the standard rears as s2dude found out with the 19's and no spacers on the front the steering arm killed the tyres, now its spaced its alot better.
Good choice on wheels, what sizes did you go for (i.e. wheel/tyres) I'm sorting out a new set of 19's for mine
Ok mate, well I bought some 40mm bolts on ebay, arrived next day so its all safe now.
The wheels are 8.5J x 18 et32, tyres are 235/40 - 18 Goodyear F1 Asymetric. Fronts spaced 5mm to clear steering arm. This is a lot of tyre on the Coupe and they do look big speedo error is 2% low.. I wish I didn't have to space the fronts as I'm getting some rubbing in the wheel arch, I think I can gently pull the arches out a little (brand new wings and paint ) maybe roll the inner flange of the wing or grind the steering arms a little and bin the spacers. If I'd bought 225/40s I could have just used the spacers on the back. 225s would have looked narrow on the 8.5 wheels though and I'd have kerbed them within the week
