Ah I see. Cause etka gives different part numbers for the rear and I thought that could have been the issue.

Anyone has the original files to know how far in the sensors need to be?

The cables are longer on the rear, hence different part number. I've done what Alex has and spliced fronts on the rear as they're easier to get hold of

As for the gap it's a trial and error thing then?

A 20+ year old car looked like it was hand carved to the trusted paint shop... needs quite a bit of prep work to get it straight... But straight it will be!

Gap should be around 1mm on the sensors Vas.

We shall check all that now after its painted. He did say that he tried playing with the sensors and once he drew one slightly back it threw a fault code so it could just be the rear discs needing a proper makeover

ABS rings on the CV joints tend to clog up with dirt and rust. I changed all 4 sensors on mine and while at it, cleaned the ABS rings on the CV's. Works like a clock now.

I think that was done as well so hopefully it will be just the discs.

Old discs have lots of metal on them so will refurbish them

Out of interest approx how much is the paint job? Will he be removing windows etc?

Front screen will come off. Windows stay. Bumpers are off and the handles are off.

For all that cost will be approx 2000€
Unless something odd is found.
