this helped me with my 1.8t swap
Hey all, well once again my bored adventures have led me to create an AEB to CE1 wiring chart, if someone could help me and reassure that all of the ones with ???????'s are correct on here http://www.a2resource.com/electrical/CE1.html fill in the blanks if you can. Thanks Modified by jhax at...

also autodata has pinouts for the ecu, pretty sure green/black was the wire colour for diagnostics port, and it just needs 12v and an earth after that

got vagcom working nicely on my 90

                        oops sorry my bad.

On the white labels there are a couple of different dates

                        T10 has - 04.12.97 & 03 or 09.07.97

                        T10m has - 09.07.97 & 12.11.97

                        Hope that helps.

Got my head around how to wire up the fuel pump now, gona put some words down a bit later if you wouldn't mind checking it for me pls

                          Fuel Pump Relay

                          Is this correct Paul?

I can use existing relay making the connections as bellow?

                          Connections -

                          1. BS on CEP to ro/bl T10z/6

                          2. O on CEP to 20A fuse (placed in an aux fuse position at fuse box) to ro/gn T6z/4

                          3. 87a on CEP replace 0.5 gn/sw with 2.5gn/sw to S25 (replace 5A with 10A fuse) then to 2.5 gn/ge T10z/8

                          lol hope that makes sense.

Will check your words later but looks encouraging.

Btw - that date is for an My98 car. This might explain the few loom differences - will look at that again soon.

                              1 - yes

2 - yes, but you could also insert a new fuse in the main fusebox for this... should be some spare positions in your ACE motor

                              3 - yes

Just remembered about this too... C49 is for July 1994 onwards i.e. MY95

If the ACE engined car has 'R' in the VIN then its MY94 - so go with B71 as best schematic to work from
