BTW, love the 50mm BOV sound, it's like: VROOOOOOOMM, TSSSS, VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, TSSSSS! Clean simple sound. Before it was like TSHIIIII!

Nice and synny day today. Summertires are fitted and now it's nice to drive again, exept for the soft suspension. Tried some different setups with front wheel aligment, all camber you could get and little more splay, feels like it turns easier. Just waiting to get on track. Fitted poor mans 12mm spacers, made of mild steel but lightened.

Hmm, need still to do something to the breather system. One launch and oil is all over the place...

Only stock block breather in use, and drain back to sump.

Yes, it's more like a separator than catch tank. But it seems to not work very well.

I asked him on the thread where from this part is, but haven't got any answer yet. And he's just got the engine running so no testing has been done.Comment

Breather is used on the IL5 diesel in 100/A6. AAS,AAT,ABP Partnr 046103145
I have/had one of those but i don't know where it went. I was trying to get it working like a siphon to drain oil from the blow by gasses.Comment

Great info here again guys! That piece is a nice idea, didn't know of those. Quite pricy though, 200 euros new. Will propably be quite easy to make a DIY version...
V6quattro, nice baffle. That would work nicely, juts heard comments of a similar one, that it performs very well, no problems with the breather anymore in that car.
