And I finally found braided brake hoses for the rear. HEL's BMW E30 M3 rear to Brembo hoses. They are 320mm in lenght. Maybe little too much, but didn't find any shorter with those end fittings.

it comes with the territory Thomas...big power means big brakes...

no not yet dude...I've had to do a bit of reworking of the turbo....I've gone smaller hotside to try and reduce the lag, 0.63AR....the tuner also had a spot of bother...found this in the hotside after it had wedged my compressor wheel!!...so with that I had the turbo stripped, checked and rebuilt with the smaller hotside....I'll let you know how I get on...

have you ran you coilovers yet?...if and when you do, how do they feel??...

I know the feeling when you strip down parts and find strange bits that doesn't belong there. Good that you got it sorted out. Interesting to see results when you get there.

No, I havn't drive the car yet. They can be quite harsh on the road, but it isn't build soft comfort in mind...

I only ask as I've been in coupe's with coil overs and I was very surprised how supple they were despite them being lowered....
remind me are your coilovers an off the shelf kit or a custom set up??....I thought I saw Bilsteins in there...

I would say this is custom setup. Bilstein shocks yes, front standard B8 sprints for the C4 chassis. The rear was some Volvo Bilsteins with H&R springs, don't know the exact model. Springs 6" 750lbs in front, 4" 150lbs helper spring. Rear 500lbs, helper maybe 100lbs..?

Don't worry, all parts are going for electro coating before final fit.

Waiting to get som small bits from the machine shop, then I'll bring a whole lot of bits to electro coating, rear brake adapters, rear top mounts, spacers, bolts, etc., etc.

In the mean time I started to plan the seat install and roll cage layout. I will propably fit the a-pillars like in the pic. Need to cut the lower corners of the dashboard and right flank of the glove box.

                              This is getting rather extreme!

What are you mocking the roll cage up with?
