What are the brackets on the rear struts? They are on the opposite side to the caliper... never seen this. Custom??

They was welded on buy the previous owner for drop links for the rear anti roll bar .

If all goes well the car will be painted week after next the underside is being painted and in the boot as well .

Then comes the worrying bit, trying to put it back together without damaging fresh paint. btdt, how long do you reckon it will take you to do it and are you doing it yourself or someone else?

be good to see it on the road, will you be going to any shows

There will be some fabrication work ie intercoolers and all the plumbing work water oil lines but I'm hoping it will make it to edition38 .

But it's not being painted panther black its going phantom black so it's going to look stunning .

Going to be a stunning Ur when finished John Some nice bits in your parts collection. Will be interesting to see power & torque outputs / differences from our engines. Mind I'm gutted about those 034 coils you beat me to..

A small update my car is now relocated to quattrocoachwork due to poor quality of work carred out on my car .

Right then after several months of lack of progress and shoddy work man ship I decided to contact Ish at quattrocoachwork to see if he could fit me in to his heavy work load a Finnish my car to a show standard like Jp's urs6 (what a epic car in the flesh).
After 3 weeks or so he phone me to say he could have the car but its will not get started for some time .
And that was good enof for me to get what was left of my car picked up and taken down to Ish .
So I collected all my bits up that I had been buying over 9 months or so and get them in safe hands .
After about 20 minits of looking throw all my parts and my engine I had bought that had been rebuilt ready to fit from a forum member turned out to be a dog .
3 of the 5 pistons had chunks missing out the top.
Bores not honed properly.
Unbalanced bottom end.
And on internal inspection one broken piston ring .
So Jp was drafted in to build me a engine that will stand up to some abuse and good for 500+ bhp .

So on to the car now a small list of defects .
Engine bay
Paint was full of **** as it was painted in a dusty inviroment .
Passagers side inner wing had a huge sag in the paint .
Under the front panel was untouched with paint .
Behind the front panel was missed allso .

Rear panel
It had a rear panel fitted but it was not fitted square so when fitting the boot the gaps was awfull so it was cut out and fitted square .
Under side of the panel was not ground back after wielding and sealed and was full of rust

Wheels arches
The wheel arches were shutz but not cleaned properly and after some mild rubbing buy hand it was falling off with the dry mud behind it .

Now on to some good it's Cretaceous of Ish and his work force and Jp.
