Great progress!!

Ok small update the car is now rolling around the work shop on all four wheels.

It has not been on its wheels for about a year and half.

I'm not going to dribble on two much But plans changed regarding the turbo/manifold/injectors ect ect

The turbo now is a gtx3582
Injectors are now ev14 1000cc
And the exhaust manifold is a equal length iroz motorsport one .
Tial 60mm waste gate
And a 3.5" down pipe
And vems ecu








It's a monster !

We had to but the tial 44mm flange off to make way for the 60mm












Then we heat wrapped the manifold in titanium heat wrap .







Now on to the intake manifold I had it polished and engraved with Quattro coach works logo





And the fuel rail fitted with the injectors .





Back to the engine we started to fit all the manifolds and ancillerys ready to put this monster in its hole .




And it was time to paint the gearbox and all the brackets and ancillerys .

And time to put the lump in the hole !





And before we started to fit the engine up we fitted the sub frames wish bones struts ect ect every thing to get her rolling again
















And now off the ramp and into the spray booth .














And now she is at the point where we have measured the space to fit the intercooler so that's on order and pipe work to connect to both manifolds .

And the rest of the braided lines are on order for turbo and oil cooler

So this week it's off to ptr exhausts to have a 3" exhaust made with 2 silencers and slash cut tips in 3" .

Your not the only one mate but our game plan is get her running ect ect then block flat the body work and re prime the car leave it 30 days flat again then paint .

So buy the time it's painted it's done 3 season changes .

Coming along just fine. Will should have the new head back ready for bolting up. Then the final build with all the other bits that have been trial fitted. Thinking of a years playtime then look at the body work. But who knows??

So on to Tuesday this week the car was rolled out of the garage loaded onto the recovery truck and sent up to Ptr exhaust for a 2 box system in 3" of the 3.5 " down pipe and he has done a amazing job !
