Discovered today that throttle positioning sensor is throwing a code out. Cleared codes, pressed throttle and code was back. 60 mile round trip (Barnsley to Leeds to Barnsley) and spare sensor fitted, no more code.

Glad I discovered this today. Have MOT tomorrow, so emissions would've been high, and also fitting wideband to calibrate LPG properly

Boost gauge fitted where oil temperature used to live. AFR gauge will be much harder to fit, but I'm sure I'll manage it.

So she still coughs up cloud of blue smoke when I start her up and give her some revs, and it smells of rich mixture and when she runs I get a miss fire occasionally and revs jumping. So I will take injectors out again and put them in jars for whole day and see if any are leaking

Thanks chaps, I think I'll just get rid of silencers altogether and open up cats and gut them.

Separate, from the "Y" in the down pipe, to the cats, through the center muffler and on to the final "box"

    Not sure.

But a cheap plastic calliper gauge is a handy addition to anyone's tool box.

Just pasting the link to this one purely for the photo and to give an idea of price.

"Real" ones can be bought cheap enough as well. Good to have both though.

If gutting, put a tube inside to keep the gases speeding along on their way towards the tailpipes, rather than have them 'rolling around' / slowing down in an empty box(es).

I rather put 244 euros towards a new system if I'm honest. I'll just gut cats, silencers for now, who needs them anyways.

If you're not concerned about a bit of extra exhaust noise, I'd put in a set of cat by pass pipes for 50 weeks of the year.

It may also cure your problem. If not, it will eliminate the cats as the potential culprit.

They allow the engine to breath / spin up a bit freer after say 4/5Krpm.

The pipes are not massively expensive.

Actually you've been messing about with this LPG thing and the fuelling so it's very possible you've destroyed one or both cats.

I think looking at one of the Dave posts, in the silencers it is separate tubes but with holes in them, if it makes sense.
