...as usual, one isn't enough.







As some of you already now, it's a non starer (for now ) because immobilizer has packed up. When trying to start it, starter motor won't engage. There are some tiny bit of bubbling in places, but nothing serious.

I have managed to get the starter motor to engage by just putting 12v straight to it, and fuel pump runs too when I override it at the relay.

When I tried getting the pressure up, I noticed a quite bad leak from fuel lines, so I've removed those and will replace with rubber hoses for now(not fan of them usually)

Hope to get the engine started this week, then overhaul the brakes and get it MOT'd, and then a good clean.

If engine is good on the grey one, then I am keeping that and selling the red one.

No I didn't, that wasn't car for me, but someone who buys it to do up for themselves it is a great motor. Nice interior and engine is superb with expensive bits done already.

As above, i think they are too chunky, if I would go 16'' I'd buy the 5-spoke Fuchs that came with my red S4.

Only have 2 Red one and now grey one, the one above ain't mine...sadly

I understand that... I keep looking in the usual places for them, and all I can find is that green monstrosity on eBay
