i need good map for factory engine.
when I open Tools->firmware->audi config upload I chose a setting for factory injectors and I got map with witch my car was first start on vems. My engine work fine on that map. If anybady has expirience with this map that comes on vems?

I think base map is far form real VE (VE128)
VE-table is easy to tune because WBO2 can tell
I use new tool "Tune by statistic" just drive log and tune

ignition map is something you have to get it proper tuned on dyno or atleast with knock detection tools while tweaking on it.I still have not done it on my car too.

                  Yes like Pop said.
But if you can take a risk.

I tune by use many Ignition map in this thread compare with many user
if more user used same Ign at same kpa,rpm may be good for me too
so I try to my table and drive carefully and see if it better I used that value

                  VE-Table must 90% complete,and must chose LambdaTaget

Ignition map only match well if "your" crank trigger position is totaly 100% the same as the map you are copying.. Otherview you might get to aggressive or to lame advance.. Tomething to keep in mind before you go pedal to the medal on someone elses ign map !

It´s just a question of time..

Also compression and what type fuel is used is extremely important, I'm sure there's a bunch of other factors also. At least some kind of knock listening device is a must in my opinion, and being able to separate knock from normal engine noise.

                        Hi everyone!

I´m looking for a basemap for this setup(just to get thruw the MOT):

                        AAN 2.2TQ
                        Gt35R
                        Deka 630cc @ 4bar fpr
                        rs2 manifold
                        3" dp and exhaust
                        7A cams
                        115r coils
                        stock N75 valve

Or do someone know what dwell time the coils want and what req fuel value I should use ?

You might want to mention that you have stock fuel pump.

Coils should be 2ms with 1 for voltage extension. Think you can run more like 2.5 but start low and ramp up

Your vems supplier should be able to give you a base map. you shouldn't really use someone elses map with that setup to dangerous, just use a aan basemap and change the req_fuel to your injectors and turn off boost so it's runs on spring pressure until it's mapped.
