Here is the log i pulled, Sadly when i attempted to fix my breather system (after the dyno), one of the hoses i pulled off was full of oil, it dumped into the transmission, i tried flushing it, but apparently i didn't do a great job, since the clutch is now slipping.. (spec stage 3+) I actually am planning on pulling the trans this weekend to put in a 6 speed... hopefully something can be done while we are in there.

You should be able to clean it up since it is not organic.Comment

you maybe have some trigger errors. At 3 minute you have an RPM jump that has nothing to do with the way the engine works.Here is the log i pulled, Sadly when i attempted to fix my breather system (after the dyno), one of the hoses i pulled off was full of oil, it dumped into the transmission, i tried flushing it, but apparently i didn't do a great job, since the clutch is now slipping.. Please try to make a log drive at 3000-3100 and press full throttle till 7000. That way we can see how your boost behaves and tell if the dip in the dyno run is caused by this.Last edited by Billman; 7 April 2011, 06:47.Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

What is the realistic max duty WGDC is it 90 or 100%?Motronic does not magically make your turbo surge. It's a purely physical process, and your engine management has nothing to do with it.
If you do not get surge on VEMS that means it's spooling slower.
That's pretty damn simple.
Reason you had horrid spool on Motronic, is because your tuner conveniently just set WGDC to 70%, and he did that everywhere for some reason, starting from 900 rpm.
Maybe because he did not know the axis values for the N75 map.
Correct way to map around surge is to set WGDC and target boost lower only in the area where there is surge, not all over the map and mess up spool. And there is no reason to set it as low as 70%... that hurts spool really badly.
In an aftermarket ECU, it would be correct to use gear-dependent boost control.
P.S.
You said you had surge at 2600 rpm. Well, in your Motronic target boost map, at 2600 RPM the target boost is max. Meaning literally "unlimited". I am sure if you do this on VEMS you will have surge too..Comment

@Jamo
are you talking about the RPM/MAP Map Corr? What does it do? I have it set to 0 also.Go Holset or Go RS4Comment

he dialed in his timing with a light. 53 is correct for his car. it should really be checked for all installations, small variations in flywheel reference pin locations will move TDC from the usual 57/58.
nothing wrong with that, it tops out at +40% anyway no matter what number you put in there. all that does is change how fast it ramps up under boost.Coil charge time 30!
haven't seen anything different with this.Map Corr set to 0 needs to be 100Comment
