    Yes mate, I did

    Think I'm going to drop it out and replace all the pipes on top.

    Once the ecu is refitted is there a particular way to allow it to adapt or just drive it steadily?

    The one in it is new VAG. I've tried the one that it replaced and the one out of my good running breaker. They've all acted the same. Had the pump out today too - clean as a whistle.

    How do you know that the Lambda O2 sensor that you are using to get these results is correct or has been calibrated? Have you tried another sensor (borrowed as a known to be good one)?

    Right, boost checked it via the MAF hose to just over a Bar and via the turbo up to 2 bar and NOTHING. Not a loss or leak in sight. Had a very slight one from injector seals so changed them but still running very lean;

    Wot at 3,500 14:1
    Light throttle (0.4 bar) it's at 15:1 until 3,600 then you can feel it hang back massively at which point the AFR gauge goes to 17.8:1 like a switch had been thrown.

    Ok cool time to have a look at that N75 plumbing then

    So is it reading different to the dash? (It seemed like that's what you were saying..)

    I forget, is the mechanical gauge tapped into a different place to the ECU?

    If the resistor is wrong it's far worse than this trust me. And it wouldn't be wrong on a stock ecu either.

    Not meaning to confuse the issue but...going back to load, dmitri once said of the R201 resistor:

    If you use the wrong resistor with the wrong calibration your LOAD will be wrong so too rich and too little timing or too lean and too much timing.

    Which resistor to use depends on software...
