Umm....it's always dark in a C4 trunk/boot when you are in there, removing the fuel pump, even in the day light.

Sarcastic when appropriate. Awful, maybe, but only if totally frustrated.

Regardless, better than a needy time waster.

(all this time you're on the keyboard tonight, you could have pulled that fuel pump)

I agree but it was just this morning that I drove the car with the breather hose to the MAF hose plugged in the MAF hose side to eliminate the breathers. I had simultaneously don't the same with the DV

And from all the suggestions, the basket to the pump is the ONLY one I've not checked.

But yet you don't know what the issue really is, just why our suggestions aren't the answer.

I understand now why prj is avoiding helping you, even for cash. No amount of money could compensate him for mental hurt.

Can't wait to find out that even a new MAF doesn't help.

If you read through the thread you'll also read he had a significant air leak.

I might have missed it but what was the result of pulling the fuel pump and inspecting the tank for debris that could be clogging the inlet of the fuel pump?

And did you notice that prj's cure for similar issues was a new fuel pump?
