Yes monitor Motronic times on petrol and quickly switch to gas and it should be the same. Get you dad to hold a very steady throttle. And repeat at different loads. Only at high loads when Motronic is open loop should the Lpg be leaner.

So I check petrol ms and petrol ms on gas and adjust? I will get my dad to drive it then as that is the only way I can be in charge of the laptop But apart from little things like that it runs perfectly.

I've also ordered a KME PW2 level sensor so I can get level indicator working finally.

I guess only way to adjust is with laptop connected and being on the move?

The gas times must still be not be close enough to the petrol times. At some points.

OK thanks. I'll set idle to 14.7 then. When WOT it's about 12.5 to 13.5.

The gas afr should broadly follow the petrol afr while Motronic is in closed loop. At full throttle is gas should be set leaner and that is the only difference.

At cruise it hovers around 15.5 (that''s what I set it to) but then on idle it will go lean for a while or rich? On petrol it's pretty steady.

When, at cruise? Motronic should use the lambda probe to keep at 14.7 while at light loads.

I've noticed that LPG AFR is very unpredictable. It'll show 15.5 ish then go to 17 for a while and just now it dropped to 13? Any idea why?

Thanks guys, it is all fitted and working. On idle it was AFR 11, now adjusted to about AFR 15.5. 3rd on WOT was about AFR 14.5, so that is now adjusted to AFR 12.5-13.2 When I get a chance, I will try and log it to see exactly what AFR I'm getting exactly.

Serial is setting it up and connecting to logging software. Brown wire = narrowband output, to connect to motronic if you want. Just crimp a male spade onto this to plug into the plug behind the head. One with the rubber boot on it and only 1 wire.

Other wire is wideband output for whatever you are using it for, in your case your LPG ECU?
