You can change the style the forum displays by selecting your preferred style at the bottom left of the site.
We have made an enhancement so that old threads should now link from search results to the correct thread. This is not yet in place for single post links
I imagine you will be eager to hear it working, there is no problem with that! It took a 'while' cranking over on starter to build oil pressure (maybe 10--15 seconds with spark plugs out) but started straight away after that. I do have the benefit of knowing it all worked before rebuild though...

What’s going on with the front engine mount? Am I missing something?

Sorry. Not a very good picture. It’s not always easy to see what you have taken on the phone!
What I mean is there is no contact between the half moon bracket that the aux rad sits on and the rubber bush on the front engine mount. I checked on 7Zap and don’t appear to be missing anything.

The U-shaped bracket is slightly adjustable, just slotted holes I think, but it doesn't make contact 100% of the time, at rest there will be a gap, but shouldn't be more than a couple of mm.

Also I seem to have a spare oil return hole not being used. All of the turbo oil lines are connected.
It’s the one on the sump extension to the rear of the oil filter. Again, apologies but not a very good picture!
Oil cooler pipes all fitted nicely.
Filled the cooler with oil.
It’s gone very damp outside so I did some paint drying in the house. Don’t tell the Mrs!

The turbo oil drain goes to a different place if you have AC, the AC pump bracket fits over the hole in the block.

Now I understand. I've deleted the air con as all the parts were missing. I didn't replace the bracket and as your turbo already had the pipes attached it was a straight bolt on fit. That explains why I now have a spare return oil pipe and a hole in the sump extension.
So, what would be best now? Swap the return hose over and fit the AC bracket to cover the return or just blank off the hole I have now?

Either one will work. As a non AC car (now) your oil return is in the right place.
