              • Ok, a quick update. She is home. No pics unfortunately as it was pouring with rain when I got home.
                I now have a long list of jobs to do.
                Fit new OE strut top bushes and the saver kit supplied by Lago Blue; Replace coolant hose with non aux rad version; fit side air guide (from Alex); fit hybrid turbo (from Vidar); change oil and filter to fully synthetic; change gearbox oil over to GL4 oil (I was incorrectly sold GL5 oil by Opie oils and don't want to risk my syncro's!).

                    • Well, the paint job is a long story and I am not going to go there at the moment.
                      Working on the car helps take my mind off it.
                      Strut top savers and new Boge mounts fitted up no problem.
                      The kit and parts you need.

                      Boge on right. Slightly taller.

                      Now the TT caps sit a little higher and the black plastic covers no longer fit but I’m happy with that if it means I won’t have to change them again for a long time.

                      • hope its not too serious with the paint job, Got mine booked in on the 5th of august. Good work with the top mounts I was thinking about upgrading mine but just going to go the same way as you.
