The tool I have is the proper Durite JPT tool. However, it wasn't closing the collar properly over the cable insulation and I had to finish off each one using the normal non insulated crimp tool. The pins do actually fit in the normal tool but it wasn't starting off as well as the JPT tool. Maybe it needs adjustment but the jaws are closing completely do I don't know how.Nothelle S2 Avant

Ours fell apart about a decade ago and exactly the same. Methodically re-shouldered it all and bound it up in insulation tape then waterproof duct tape and it’s been fine ever since... That’s dog in and out twice a day, like fine....85 WR Urquattro, 85 20vT International liveried RallyRep

Slowly working my way through all the causes of boost cut.
I made my own leak test kit.
And checked the bypass valve, wastegate diaphragm and swapped the N75. Still not identified the culprit. I have a two pin MFTS on order.

I was convinced ours was the MFTS, sadly....
Swapped N75 to Rallyrep (working N75) and renewed all boost hoses...
Meh... But, in cool air density like this morning it “thinks about” going N75 then “checks back”... Might just have to hook up the Turbosmart and methodically watch the boost gauge again to see how much pressure the system can hold.
