Out of winter hibernation for mot on Thursday.


The mouse traps I set in the car were all empty which is a good sign.
The de humidifier was full of water but I still had some white mould on the seat backs. Out in the sun and everything given a good clean and Nivea treatment.


Checked the car over and one washer jet was blocked. Quick blast with the air line cleared that. My Becker radio seems to be somewhat sick. It’s jumping from station to station and the display seems to have bled out. Cry.

Good idea.
However, think I have it sorted. The front panel flips down and detaches. There is a row of connectors which needed a clean. So far so good.

I cleaned mine yesterday and gave it a good dose of Nivea and I´m going to let it soak in the sun till easter as we are confined till then, went to look at it today and it´s 50% gone, and I do it every year? That is why they have lasted so well!

Yes, that's the idea. I would love to make a trip to Germany to visit the Nothelle guys but not sure if it will be legal this year. Audi's in the park booked.

Mot passed with nil advisories.

Radio is still sick. Any Becker experts here? I've tried a 're boot but it constantly scans for stations and jumps from channel to channel. Cd and iPod connection appear ok.
