Thanks that would help. Would it be possible to put a picture of the tool, I've seen a few conflicting post about what tool works on the ABY engine.

Also need to find a supplier that can supply the belt, tensioner, idler pulley's and the water pump.

Never driven the car, first time will be Saturday, and looking forward to it. Will try the google search option thanks.

I know the car is due a cambelt due to age, so that will be the first job that gets down on the car, just need to find or make a crank holding tool and buy a 450+NM torque wrench

Worth fitting a billet steel bottom pulley as the stock aluminium ones are prone to breaking the keyway. (At the very least fit a new stock one and check the keyway in the cam pulley for cracks) Don’t be tempted to use a rattle gun

If you're that way inclined, they are easy enough to make -mine took me half an hour!

That's another option as well, I've seen a few youtube video on making your own tool. I'm still surprised how tight that bolt has to be.

I have just used it on my ABY. it is the correct one.

I use Pete at Quattro corner, he can supply OEM ancillaries...
