The floor isnt that clean beneath the enignecompartment..
But it's really easy to clean

Fired it up today!

and it went right up on idle. The turbo is whistling pretty much from the old 'netics one, and the sound if it spinning 20-30 sec after shutoff is neat
I am so excited to get it on the road and test it :mischeif:

One thing though, as removing all the pips and parts from the old PVC system, I now have alot of oil vapour comming out from the filter of the catch tank. Is this normal? It can't be..?!

Seeing this I now suspect a blow by in the internals.

But i dont know yet so we'll see.

Update

OK,
got it all back together today and went out for a little test in my neighbourhood.

First impressions is totally sick.
The 034 enginemounts reveals very easily that they are mounted on, and the turbo have an insane "spinning" sound under load. other than that, it feels much firmer with the promounts than the old ones that were finished a long time ago.

Im also very pleased with the new VDO gauge, how it matches the interior and the matching light. Very pleasd.

Now I have to map the car again ( ) to get it more optimized and drivable due to the new turbo.
I am looking foreward to test it all out soon

still awaiting more bits to fall inn shortly (complete brace for turbo as i dont want any cracking to start and some other bits).

a final pic to show you how i did the maf solution.
Its really tight, but it all just clears eachother.

I may have to make a shield to the airfilter, so it don't drowns when driving in rain

Desides a new X-member from Bo will come on (when I get the rest of the parts) and I will look into if another solution for the MAF is possible when Bo's x-member is mounted.
