  • Put the rear fender liners in place today.

How are you guys preloading the suspension and still access the bolts?

    • I usally take note of the distance between wheel hub center and the edge of the fender. Then just put a jack under the lower suspension arm and load the suspension so that the distance between the hub and fender match. Then tighten the bolts.

      • Thanks!
I can lower the ramp with something supporting the lower arm.
The KW suspension manual has some measurements for reference.

        • Drive shafts in place with new gaskets.
Exhaust in place (pfff difficult and heavy on your own).
Going to find some different 3" clamps. Really don't like these ones.

I think I get the missing brake hoses this week. This Friday I'll put them in place
and bleed the system. After that I'll do an alignment by sight. Booked an
alignment job for Friday next week.

First time on it's wheels since September last year.... feels really good!!
Set the height to the max specified by KW.
Front: 340mm from the center of the wheel to the fender arch.
          Rear: 330mm.
It will drop a bit in time.

After I had done the exhaust I could have it running a bit to check the fuel lines again
and verify the fuel pressure. It was already set to 4 bars by Nuke Performance.

          • Last Friday I put the heat shields, drive shafts and exhaust back on.
Supported the suspension to tighten the bolts at ride height, bled the brakes and took it
for a very short spin. Had to bleed the brakes again....

            Washed her this evening.

Paint looks alright, until you get up close... it's terrible...

Have an appointment for an alignment this Friday.

The exhaust is leaking at the conical rings at both cats. Can't seem to
get that fixed. Think I'll ask the garage that does to alignment to have a go.
Ordered the stainless mesh type donuts to see if I can get it to seal
            with those.
