Yes, it was RES. When JP measured the bores they were exactly what I'd asked them to bore them to, 4 thou from memory.

Because of the way the engine failed I wanted somebody with specialist knowledge of the I5 engine to look at it. I don't have any issues with RES and still use them now.

New oil squirters came in today so I'm going to try and keep next weekend free to fit them.

Yes IIRC from the other oil pressure thread Andy fitted these and the problem was solved

Mapping is not until the end of April, gives me time to sort out the last few glitches. are you putting yours on the RR?

Hopefully still a few things to sort before I can 100% say it goes on fuel filter, catch tank and swirl pot, boost control, ecu tweaking but should hopefully get them done

At what sort of boost? I'm not expecting it to make that much, I think the dizzy and MAF will limit the boost I can run.

Niether of us will be the most powerful stroker there though, somebody else is going to blow us into next week

1.85 bar trailing to 1.4 at redline

JP's? I'm not focused on power output, we could have gone GT35r which I've seen hit 600-700 on a stroker but is it street drivable?

Wills car will also be quite powerful let see if anyone gets over 500 bhp expecting a few high 400 cars.

MAF will be an issue keeping it in one piece on boost!

I've already discussed the boost issue with Mark ( Hardy ) and we agreed that 1.5bar would be a sensible start. Like you said though, driveability is more important and I'm hoping it's going to have that by the truck load!
