Way to low for a 3071 you can check with other 3071 owners

Too low for what? I always thought that 400bhp was about the limit for the MAF, according to prj anyway. If you say engines with my spec have done 430-480bhp on 1.85bar, then I should safe at 1.5bar right?

id say i did about 420 with vems on the 3071 like yours. Since you have a stroker, it might be able to make a bit more anyway, but i did it with 2.1bar overboost and 1.8 at the redline.

while i had the motronic i had 1.9 to 1.7bar so i presume i would have made around 390-400hp (with the maf working)

i dont know if 1.5 though will get you surely to 400hp eventhough being a stroker.

i dont remember, is the cyl head ported?

400 bhp has been broken with the maf since 2003 granted it uses method where the maf signal is maxxed out but Mihnea has been doing such for years so has Mark with DJ Jones car

You should be able to on the stroker to safely run 1.7-1.8 bar and make 450+ bhp

Strokers on that turbo with .82 hotside should easily push 450

I've always said this wasn't about chasing numbers though, I just want it to drive like a std S2, but be much faster.

This is the bigger oil cooler I've just fitted







I've mounted it on the std brkt, but it could do with lifting slightly as it rubbing on the bumper. Just been out for a test run but there are too many tourists plodding around my test route to get it opened up properly.

yes my oil cooler is definitelly bigger than that, which is why it didnt fit on the original position without heavy modifying...

With the head ported andy i would expect much higher numbers. I hear a lot of gains are made that way. (which is why im getting me one of those! hehe)

Steve's car is mapped by Mark and that pulled something like 600hp with stock maf. Goes well so I am told!

You might as well disconnect the MAF and map alpha-n.
MAF is useless past 350 hp, mapping 250 hp to the last cell is not "cool" it's stupid.
I can do that too, it still won't change the fact that it's bad for your motor - so I don't do it.

It's like running your car on VEMS with a 250 kpa MAP when you are boosting over 2 bar.
See if that's a good idea.
