Regarding injectors, there are two ways I'd go for 400hp - the adequate but not the best 440cc Bosch '558' injector, I was supposed to bring 10 of these back from the US but it didn't work out. I can still get them though, just takes a bit longer and have to arrange for them to be forwarded.

Or, the Bosch 550cc which is superior in every way BUT needs the harness adapters and spacers. Not so OEM, but the sets can easily and quickly be sourced at reasonable cost (about £250-275 a set with adapters and spacers).

Or, stick with RS2 that you already have - Paul can confirm but I think they just about max out with the potential of the RS2 turbo?

I personally dont think the RS2 injectors can get the maximum from the turbo... looking at compressor map and seeing the data from some prj logs of how RS2 injectors get stretched aorund 1.2bar boost at 6000rpm.

I think the EV6/14 550cc is the way to go here chaps - great looking spec and I have the latency data as well to make it sweet - Bosch 0 280 158 117 - they arent the cheapest but then again - you have heaps of headroom to go even larger turbo sometime in the future.

I am trying to get a PnP solution as well.
Some custom Bosch injectors from FIC.

Will need to test and see how that works out.
Should be ~50 EUR per injector and will fit perfectly.

That'll take a while though - will need to get a set and then tune it to see how it works out.

Looks like the Bosch EV6/14 550c are the way to go for now then. Do we know where to get adapters and spacers from?

Just wondering whether to bite the bullet and get a set for mapping, or stick with the RS2 for now.

              I could possibly supply you.

              You need for each injector:
2x plastic washers (on bottom to prevent it falling into the manifold, on top to prevent the fuel rail going too far)
              1x Spacer
              1x Adapter

Lot of work to make an injector work...

How quickly do you need them?

@prj - if you have a set coming that would be great. No mad rush though - I think end of June / early July. I have the latency tables built for it already. I'd like to play them here on mine for a sanity check and get a feel for how fiddly they are to fit.

K, I'll let you know in a bit if I can source them or not (injectors, washers, adapters, spacers).
I have four sets coming, but I am not sure how many I need for mapping people's stuff.

Still looking for a set of the EV14's, but work on the car is progressing...

Stock springs back on with the koni's. The car doesn't look to sit much higher either which is a nice suprise!

Also, make sure you break in that SB clutch very, very carefully...

Cheers for the advice with the clutch, i'll be running in the engine carefully as well.

Shame i'll be missing the RR at MRC now though

Good to see some progress Andy, been a bit of a wait for you

The clutch just requires 500 miles of sensible driving before doing anything crazy I believe - anyone got advice to add to that? As the engine will be rebuilt, you'll want to run it in sensibly over that 500 miles anyway. I'm sure you can get that done by July 9th...

Yep it's good to finally have it well under-way after years of preparation mods and collecting parts.

I'll probably drive it around the lakes for 100 miles before or something, change the oil, drive it home and then continue to cruise about in it for a few weeks. Otherwise i'd have to stop somewhere around Birmingham to change the oil

When i think about the amount of work that needs doing, even the end of July is a bit optimistic!
