Given it some full throttle today from 1st all the way up to 5th gear... max AFR i received was 23.5 psi (1.6 bar) and AFR as low as 10.6... so clearly a problem somewhere... key suspect for now is the wastegate.

The car is up at VRS next Saturday, so we'll take a look then.

10.6 AFR, I would suspect a boost leak.

A quick update with the car - it's all run in now and has been back up to VRS to get checked over and resolve the boosting issue, ready for Dmitri to map it this Saturday.

It's now holding 1.7 bar, which seems much more like it, but is still running too rich. Will suspects coilpack or plugs as it also has a slight misfire, which he's going to look at.

Other slight mods being done or planned for the car are to replace the samco's between the turbo and IM, which seemed to be causing a restriction, the MAF pipe, which needs to be modified anyway for an RS4 MAF, and a 1 bar WG spring.

Yea, it has to be sorted out before mapping.
I'll try to have a look at it on Friday...

Rich reading on WBO2 gauge can not be caused by misfires though.
Misfires always show as lean, because it meters oxygen in the exhaust, and if there is no combustion, there is plenty of oxygen.

Rich running was due to high fuel pressure. Not enough boost due to mac valve.
Thanks to will for lending his workshop and for overextending his stay by 3 hours.

The car is running beautifully. Making close to 500hp and i got to test out my new launch control, which i had to dial down from 2.3 bar when stationary to 1.6 bar

Fats with two people in the car is 3.1 seconds.

The car is seriously fast!!! Will write more tomorrow, but a massive thanks to Dmitri for his hard work mapping and modding the car all day, and to will @ vrs for allowing us to use his workshop, providing advice, tools, parts and helping to get the car running right hours after closing time, getting him into trouble with the mrs
